People can track the places they check-into and businesses can keep track of the people that visit them via QR Codes from ECTrace.
The app supports your business and daily life by reducing manual effort needed to log the entry and exit of you or your visitors. Scanning your entry and exits helps with contact tracing.
Once you're logged in, you can scan QR Codes even with no internet, your data will be updated once you reconnect and open the app again.
The app updates you if an establishment scans your QR Code for a check-in and it tells you if users in the same establishments have declared higher temperatures.
Your data is stored securely on your phone, and only basic information will be shared to the establishments that you visit. Data stored on your phone and our cloud will automatically be deleted every 25 days.
The personal data that we store includes your email addresss, contact number, name and address, along with an optional user photo.
We do not collect data about your GPS location. Neither do we collect data about your WiFi, mobile network or activities outside the app.
Other app users cannot see your name and any of your data. Only establishments that you have checked into can see your basic contact information and will disappear after 25 days.
Other third-party services will not be able to track your identity, but we may share your data if the government requests it.
Whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
